G'day and howdydoo.....saw Jelena Dokic just recently doing TV ads for weight reduction, (I will not confess that I do not remember the company behind the AD, old age getting to me I am afraid. :)) Well, anyway, seeing Jelena once again brought back memories of 1996 when she played at Wimbledon against Martina Hingis in round 1, an amazing game of tennis, which I am sure brought many to shed a tear or two, and if you never saw it, well worth searching for the video and you get to see it. Here follows a short poem for Jelena who gave me the inspiration to put pen to paper, sure hope you enjoy the read. I might add, Jelena is looking a million dollars, she could be on track for another Wimbledon, no doubt whatever she is on is working for her.
